The national average wage workers would need to earn in order to make rent payments on a two-bedroom apartment is $22.10 an hour, according to Out of Reach, an annual report from the National Low Income Housing Coalition that examines the shortfall between wages and the costs of renting. Workers earning minimum wage would have to work 74 hours per week throughout the year to afford a two-bedroom apartment.

The National Low Income Housing Coalition and the Coalition on Homelessness and Housing in OH released a report today revealing that most OH jobs don't pay enough to cover the cost of rent. To rent a one-bedroom at minimum wage, you'd need to work 67 hours a week.

Meanwhile, Hawai'i's minimum wage is set at $10.10 per hour, with no future increases scheduled. The report reveals that 41 percent of Cuyahoga County residents are renters, and the housing wage needed is less than the state's average at $15.10.

In California, the gap is even greater. While the rental market added more than 6.7 million housing units between 2005 and 2015, the number of units renting for less than $800 dropped by more than 260,000, according to the report.

"While the housing market may have recovered for many, we are nonetheless experiencing an affordable housing crisis, especially for very low-income families", Sen. The average fair market rent in Arkansas is $720 and the minimum wage is $8.50, the report notes.

In Ohio, the fair market rent (FMR) for a two-bedroom apartment is $793.

The housing wage for a one-bedroom apartment in Washington is $21.65.

Griezmann joined Atletico from Real Sociedad in 2014 and has scored 112 goals in all competitions for the club. He also posted a video on Twitter with the captain, "My fans, my team, my home".

Anyone making that amount would have to work triple shifts of 119 hours a week for a 2-bedroom apartment.

The most expensive county in the state is Honolulu, where the "housing wage" is $39.06 per hour.

The same day the Federal Reserve raised interest rates-signaling confidence in a growing economy-and on the heels of a seemingly positive May jobs report, a new study by the National Low Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC) suggests that the economy isn't as healthy as some might believe. Still, at that salary, renters would need to work two full-time jobs to afford a two-bedroom apartment, according to the study.

Financial experts advise individuals should not spend more than 30 percent of his or her income on housing costs. The number of homes renting for $2,000 or more per month almost doubled between 2005 and 2015.

The report also questions "filtering", the idea that if developers just keep building enough market-rate housing, that housing will eventually become affordable for low-income people.

But rather than cutting assistance, the report says, the government should continue to invest in housing programs that help the lowest-income households.
