‘Cowboy Ninja Viking’ Movie Stopped In Its Tracks By Universal

His next film, comicbook adaptation Cowboy Ninja Viking has now been pulled from the release schedule and placed on indefinite hold.

There were reports that Priyanka opted out of Bollywood star Salman Khan's Bharat to be a part of the Universal Pictures project. That's pretty shocking for a film that was going to go into production next month.

News of Universal pulling Cowboy Ninja Viking off its schedule and halting production until who knows when serves as the second hit to Pratt's professional life in the past few weeks. It was adapted by Dan Mazeau ("Wrath of the Titans") and Ryan Engle ("The Commuter").

When the film might score another release date remains to be seen, but Universal certainly seems to think it'll still get made; just not yet.

California wildfires scorch an area the size of Los Angeles
High temperatures, low humidity and afternoon winds along with low fuel moistures are aiding large fire growth, officials said. Mr Veverka, 34, said: "Right now, it's pretty much guaranteed we'll go from fire to fire to fire, until everything is out".

Cowboy Ninja Viking tells the story of Duncan, a man who suffers from multiple personality disorder before he's made into a "triplet" after participating in a top-secret government program that creates deadly super soldiers.

With the film meant to get underway in September, it's hard to speculate what exactly has caused the production delay and the loss of release date, and what else about it needs to be developed.

It's expected that MacLaren, along with star Chris Pratt, will remain attached to the project for the time being. The film will be produced by Pratt along with Michael De Luca Productions, Entertainment 360, and Mark Gordon under his Entertainment One banner.

Chris Pratt's next big blockbuster has been delayed indefinitely. The next Guardians sequel was all set to shoot in early 2019, but Marvel has yet to make a formal announcement about the movie and how it will move forward since Gunn got the axe.
