PGA Championship: Final round tee times, pairings for Sunday at Bellerive

The United States' Gary Woodland continues to lead the US Professional Golfers Association (PGA) Championship on ten-under-par, after a day which saw stormy weather interrupt play at Bellerive.

Woodland still leads the way but there is a glut of talent close behind. Woods had his mojo back early in the round and was sitting pretty at three-under par before the delay.

Brooks Koepka is the leader through three rounds at the PGA Championship.

Not by matching a PGA Championship record with 10 birdies in the second round.

Australian Scott produced a ball-striking round of impeccable quality, a 65 the best score of the afternoon, marred only by a couple of missed putts, including a seven-footer at the last.

At the par-5 8th hole, Woods had to lay up with his second shot but hit a great approach.

Perhaps all that hacking caught up with Scott, whose only bogey Friday came on his final hole.

Woods, a 14-time major champion in his comeback season after spinal fusion surgery, and McIlroy grinded to 70s in round one before huge crowds.

Digging even deeper reveals a disparity between even his front- and back-nine scoring: He's 10 (34.75) on the front nine and 120 (35.56) on the back.

And that could mean trouble for some big names. The same goes for Tiger Woods should he not move into the top-eight points list by Sunday. That's just the nature of the way it's playing right now. "So I'm not saying that my score would be any better, I'm just saying what you would like to see in a major championship".

Kisner birdied the seventh hole, his 16th of the day, to reach 7-under but found a bunker to par the par-5 eighth and chipped 25 feet beyond the cup and two-putted to bogey nine for a 64.

"It felt like the young Adam Scott swinging the golf club".

Bellerive was playing shorter Friday than for the opening round. "Tomorrow is going to be a long day for a lot of us".

Now, the record-watching begins.

His partners, Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland and Justin Thomas of the United States, are on level par and two-under par respectively. Hiroshi Iwata also had a 9-under round at the 2015 PGA at Whistling Straits.

But the expected challenge from Jordan Spieth petered out after a triple bogey on the 12th to finish on four-under overall, while current world number one Dustin Johnson also went backwards after a two-over 72 to fall seven shots off the pace. He missed five consecutive birdie tries inside 20 feet on the back nine, growing increasingly annoyed with each squandered opportunity.

Jim Furyk will announce three of his four captain's picks following the Dell Technologies Championship, scheduled to be completed on September 3.

Spieth has struggled to keep any momentum going as he pursues the career grand slam.

Players making the cut but finishing below 70th place will be paid in diminishing increments of $100 each ($19,500; $19,400; etc.).

Tiger will have a short break and then get back on the course for his third round later this afternoon.

He'll be around for two more days of golf.

Adam Scott, amazingly nearly the forgotten hero of Australian golf, reminded the golf world he's not a spent force at a weather-lashed US PGA Championship today. He won in the penultimate group at the U.S. Open each of the last two years.

The $500,000 bump from past year means the winner's share Sunday at Bellerive will be $1,980,000. The runner-up picked up $1,134,000.

Even those failing to make Friday's 36-hole cut will walk away with $3,100.
