The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is monitoring cases of measles in 21 states, including Maryland, after noting an outbreak.

Measles is usually passed through coughing and sneezing. It can be accompanied by flu-like symptoms such as a fever and runny nose.

The CDC's 2018 midyear measles report appears high in comparison with recent years. The number is likely to surpass the 118 reported measles cases from 15 states in 2017.

The CDC says measles are still common in many parts of the world including some countries in Europe, Asia, the Pacific, and Africa, so travelers with measles can bring it into the U.S.

The La Liga kings still want to sign the France worldwide despite uncertainty over the 25-year-old's Old Devils future. But his future has been under speculation of late with agent Mino Raiola pushing for a move away.

"The 107 cases reported to CDC have been since January 2018 across 21 states, but they are not one unified outbreak".

Platt said the first sign of measles is a giant red rash. Numerous cases in the U.S.in 2014 were associated with cases brought in from the Philippines, which experienced a large measles outbreak. Worldwide, about 20 million people get measles each year, according to the agency. Measles is designated as notifiable at the national level under the National Notifiable Diseases Surveillance System, meaning all cases must be reported to the CDC.

One way to reduce your measles risk: getting the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine.

Doctors say a failure to get a measles vaccination could mean serious health issues.
