Following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo earlier this summer, the Real Madrid hierarchy had identified Hazard as the ideal replacement with few reports claiming that they're still firmly interested in his services this summer.

The European champions are long-term admirers of the Belgium worldwide, but it had appeared that Chelsea had won the battle to keep their star man until at least next summer.

Sarri said he started the match with Hazard on the bench because he still seemed exhausted after helping take Belgium to the World Cup semifinals in July, but he said Hazard would probably be ready to play 90 minutes within one or two weeks.

Hazard has less than two years remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge.

The transfer window for Premier League clubs has already closed, but remains open in a host of other European leagues until August 31.

'I am expecting the manager to get sacked before Christmas, ' the former United winger told Sky Sports. We can sell but we cannot sign players. "I have two years left on my contract, and we will see what happens".

Matteo Salvini, the country's far-right populist interior minister, also wrote: "It can go anywhere it wants, NOT in Italy". He added the rescue was co-ordinated by the Libyan coastguard and that the vessel is now in Maltese waters.

Morata fuelled the speculation by spending much of his summer in Italy, being pictured with his agent and Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici in Milan, but none of his suitors were willing or able to meet Chelsea's valuation of the striker they paid £58 million to sign from Real Madrid in the summer of 2017.

Emery said: "Our start is an issue, but we are thinking of the next match and to work on things we need to improve".

"Leave this year? I will not leave".

"Not in this moment", said Sarri, who bemoaned a "horrible" final 15 minutes of the first-half that saw Chelsea throw away their advantage.

He went on to win a first FA Cup, adding to two Premier League titles, one League Cup and one Europa League title.

"We could see [against Arsenal] that the fans like me a lot". I'm good where I am now.
