On the optical front, the Galaxy A7 sports a triple rear cameras, the main camera comes with a 24-megapixel sensor with f/1.7 aperture, the secondary camera sports an 8-megapixel sensor with 120° Ultra Wide Lens for wide-angle photos and the third 5-megapixel camera to capture depth information for portrait shots. The mid camera appears to integrate a telephoto lens, but Samsung could have done a better job when it chose the camera setup placement.

Samsung has officially announced its first new smartphone in the A series ahead of its A Galaxy Event on 11 October.

The front camera on the Galaxy A7 also gets a 24MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture and support for Selfie Focus, Pro Lightening Mode, AR emoji and filters. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with Samsung Experience UI laid on top. The processor is going to be supplemented by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, with the highest configuration model getting up to 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) features a 6-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 1080x1220 pixel resolution. Under the hood, the device is powered by an unspecified octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. The users can further expand the storage up to 256GB by adding a microSD card.

India to merge three state-owned banks
He said the NPA curve was now taking a turn and the time was opportune to go ahead with consolidation of banks. Jaitley said that the government was making a conscious decision not to merge the operations of weak lenders.

Quite obviously, no specific Malaysia release dates or pricing details were revealed.

Samsung has launched the device in four colour options- Black, Blue, Pink and Gold. The phone comes with glass on the back and a side fingerprint sensor much like the Galaxy J6+. It also comes with Dolby Atmos for headphones and Bluetooth audio, Samsung Pay, and Bixby. The phone measures 7.5mm in thickness and weighs 168 grams. While the company refers to the phone as Galaxy A7, we expect the retail package to have Galaxy A7 (2018) branding.
