The businesses in the Barkan Industrial Park, located near Ariel, employ some 8,000 people, approximately half of them Israelis and the other half Palestinians.

Authorities identified the victims as 29-year-old Kim Levengrond Yehezkel and 35-year-old Ziv Hajbi.

After the attack the suspect fled the scene, still armed with the submachine gun, the military said.

"Later we found another injured woman hiding under a table with gunshot wounds in her upper body", said paramedic Tomer Fine, who was the first responder at the site.

Two Israelis working at an industrial park that was set up to provide jobs for both Israelis and Palestinians were shot and killed over the weekend.
