Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson Split, Engagement Called Off

However, Grande expressed via social media that she was having a hard time recently while she called off several appearances too.

After five months together, Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have reportedly split and called off their whirlwind engagement.

But sources say that the ex-couple acknowledged "it was simply not the right time for their relationship to take off".

Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson's hot and heavy romance may have been their undoing. It was noted the two have love for each other, but that they will no longer be involved in a romantic manner.

The couple started dating in May and reports of their engagement broke in June.

Grande began dating Davidson nearly immediately after her split with Mac Miller went public.

As for Davidson, TMZ reports that he has continued to appear on Saturday Night Live and has even mentioned Grande in a few of his sketches.

Grande had previously defended her lightning-fast decision to marry Davidson, declaring, "Love is lit".

According to E! News, her manager Scooter Braun had to apologise to the crowd after revealing Ariana wouldn't be gracing the stage as planned.

As it was previously reported, Mac Miller, or Malcolm McCormick, passed away on the 7th of September due to an alleged drug overdose.

The pair was never shy about sharing affection for one another publicly, especially on social media.

The singer is also more than a year removed from a bombing at her concert in Manchester, England that left 22 dead.
