President Donald Trump's iPhone calls to old friends and business associates are being monitored by Chinese and Russian spies for information on policy and how the President thinks, American intelligence officials believe.

In response to a New York Times report that Chinese spies are listening in on Donald Trump's personal phone calls, China's Foreign Ministry has crafted it's most trolling response in recent memory. He did not immediately address the report's key finding, that Chinese and Russian spies were listening to his calls.

For the first 15 paragraphs of its article, The New York Times describes the president's phones only as "his iPhones".

The anonymous former officials to El Trump said that they spoke out not to undermine their Diet Coke obsessed leader, but out of concern for his ambivelence to matters of electronic security.

The Times reported Trump uses three iPhones, which includes two government devices with limited capabilities and one personal device. "Just more made up Fake News!" the President added.

Chinese telecoms firms, including Huawei, have previously come under scrutiny in the USA because of spying fears.

Then-candidate Trump would often criticise Hillary Clinton for her poor security during the 2016 presidential election.

Brexit Talks Stall At 'Moment Of Truth' Summit
But any extension will need to take into account concerns on both sides to avoid the transition ending with no deal. Irish officials signalled that a decision may follow today on whether a special November summit will be called.

A 2012 report by a congressional panel said Huawei's equipment was a security risk and the U.S. has banned government personnel from using the company's devices. "Story is soooo wrong!" the president said.

"Many of those Mr Trump speaks with, most often on one of his cellphones, such as hosts at Fox News, share the president's political views, or simply enable his sense of grievance about any number of subjects", the daily said.

China on Thursday denounced a US newspaper report that it is listening to President Donald Trump's phone calls, and suggested he exchange his iPhone for a cellphone made by Chinese manufacturer Huawei.

Shortly after Trump's tweet was sent Thursday (Friday NZ time), former aide Omarosa Manigault Newman took to Twitter to push back against his denial. I like Hard Lines.

Trump denied the claim. The Times also stated that Trump has two iPhones: one for Twitter and other basic web apps, and one for making phone calls.

Less than half-an-hour before he attributed the "Anger we see today in our society" to the "Fake News", Trump railed against the story in the Times.
