Luke Walton Under Fire from Lakers GM Magic Johnson

LeBron James was supposed to be a big boost for the Los Angeles Lakers, but so far the Lake Show's first season with LeBron hasn't really been what the team has hoped. We've seen a few times, where he just made up for mistakes tonight, where he was able to meet Dame and CJ and guys at the rim and get the blocked shots.

Lakers coach Luke Walton says it will take a lot of hard work to rebuild the squad.

"We had some bad moments down the stretch but this is the best way to teach them", James said of his young team.

Team president Magic Johnson reportedly even "admonished" Walton for the Lakers' 3-5 start, though he told the Los Angeles Times' Bill Plaschke that Walton's job is safe through the end of the season "unless something drastic happens, which it won't". "And we need everyone else who isn't having those opportunities that night to be supportive and cheering them on". "It's our choice either to hang on to those, or it's our choice to stay present and focus our energy and time on what we can do to get better".

Trump Slams Kavanaugh Accuser Who Admitted to Lying
So this was just a stunt by some left-wing person who was frustrated Kavanaugh was going to be confirmed . Trump to use me or my story as an ugly chant at one of his Republican rallies.

"I mean, it's great to win, period", James said when asked about winning amid the drama surrounding Walton. So if I'm talking, I'm going to explain myself no matter what the situation is.

Expectations are obviously sky-high now that LeBron is a Laker, but the team's 3-5 start should not come as a shock. James, it should be noted, also gave major props to Lakers reserve big man Ivica Zubac for being ready to answer the call.

But the Lakers bench would get the visitors back in the game, going 16-7 to end the quarter to cut the Trail Blazers' lead to 29-28 going into the second quarter. But all the preparation hasn't prepared Walton for the type of consistency McGee has played with over the first nine games. "If you mess with the game, the game will mess with you and I thought we did that a little bit". While it was a solid showing for most of the game, the fourth quarter was a disaster for the Lakers. So you don't just come up here and get hot and beat Portland. Back at it tomorrow: The Lakers are back on the court Sunday night at 6:30 when they host the Eastern Conference-leading Toronto Raptors.
