To avoid a hard situation, a worker at the sanctuary named Marion Wischnewski adopted him.

"I have to check the shopping list when I come in from work and cancel all the items he's ordered", she added.

Rocco, an African grey parrot, is having a love affair with Amazon's Alexa.

Before his accidental online shopping habit, Rocco the African Gray parrot was put up for adoption by the National Animal WelfaTrust sanctuary because it feared his swearing would scare visitors, the Daily Mail reported on December 14.

The African Grey, famed for imitating human speech, has been building shopping lists through the Alexa.

Authorities suspect that the police visit to Chekatt's home might have triggered the attack, according to Cigainero. His religious practice and proselytising in jail were described by Heitz as "showing signs of radicalisation".

He'd been ordering all the things he likes to eat, including strawberries, ice cream, watermelons, raisins and broccoli.

Wishnewksi told Daily Mail that Alexa not only talks to Rocco and provides him company, but she also plays his favorite songs. She also said that he has romantic music playing for her when she reaches home.

To explain Rocco's fondness of Alexa, the owner revealed the two interact for about 40 times a day. Rocco even tried to order a few items from Amazon, but the owner wisely had set up controls to prevent unauthorized purchases.

According to the Times of London, Wischnewski took Rocco in after he was removed from the National Animal Welfare Trust, because he said too many curse words.
