Since becoming an offensive coordinator in 2011, Kingsbury's offenses have averaged nearly 550 yards and over 40 points per game.

He confirmed he interviewed for the Green Bay Packers' head coaching vacancy.

Matt Rhule has spoken to the New York Jets about their head coach opening according to a report from CBS Sports.

Kingsbury recently accepted a position as offensive coordinator for the University of Southern California, but the National Football League interests forced him to abandon that position in order to interview and weigh his options. Kingsbury and the Cardinals are said to have strong mutual interest, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. "I'll be here moving forward". On Sunday night, the Patriots were reportedly expecting offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels to take a job elsewhere.

The Packers may want to add a few more interviews this week after four teams were eliminated during the first round of the playoffs, but it appears McDaniels will exit the weekend as one of the front runners to replace Mike McCarthy. McDaniels was asked if he believes spurning the Colts played any role in the lack of interview requests.

Fed Chief Jerome Powell Says He Won't Resign If Trump Asks
The head of the Fed , once confirmed by the Senate, can only be removed "for cause", not a policy disagreement. Powell responded with a terse "No" when asked if he would resign if Trump requested him to do so.

"I have no idea, you'd have to obviously ask them if that had anything to do with anything like that", he said. "I have said before, I think I have one of the best jobs in the world and am grateful for the opportunity to continue competing this week against the Chargers".

"No sir, I have had no contact with them". However, McDaniels changed his mind on the day of his introductory press conference, and stayed with the Patriots.

The 39-year-old is the fourth candidate the Jets have interviewed for the job.

Per multiple sources, the Patriots are preparing for McDaniels to leave.
