Chelsea transfer news Callum Hudson Odoi is wanted by Bayern Munich

Chelsea's injury crisis could provide more opportunities for winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, who is attracting interest from Bayern Munich.

Speaking after Tuesday's first-leg defeat to Tottenham in the Carabao Cup semi-finals, Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri insisted Hudson-Odoi had not been distracted by the speculation.

Sarri said: "Odoi in the last week has been very normal".

The bid is Bayern's fourth offer for the England U19 star, who has so far only made 11 senior appearances in Chelsea's first team.

Stephen Warnock told 5Live: "I think what's really interesting about this story, the way it's headed at the moment, is when you listen to Sarri talk about him, he says 'I haven't spoken to the player because it is not my issue'". He has a very great future here in England, with the national team and Chelsea. "To stay here is better for him".

Juventus Reject Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey Swap Deal Proposal
The trio chose to withdraw the offer of a new deal to Ramsey in September although the head coach was sounded out about the move. Ramsey is approaching 11 years as an Arsenal player.

As a result, Hudson-Odoi is itching for a move away from Stamford Bridge, with Bayern looking like the most likely destination.

The Bavarians' commitment to signing the 18-year-old has played a big part in the move. "I don't want a very important player as Cesc unhappy".

"I am not in charge of these questions and I do not want to speak to a player about something that doesn't depend on me."
"He is very young but he is improving, especially in the defensive phase".

"We played with a very good level of application, of determination, with the heart, with the soul".

Not only have his performances of late not been good enough to justify his continual selection, but he's also prohibiting Callum Hudson-Odoi from being given the regular game-time that he deserves. He's not at a mid-table club thinking 'why am I not playing?' it's Willian, Pedro, proper players.
