The three new phones, which are part of Samsung's M-series, will be sold through Samsung's website and Amazon's Indian division. Since the company is targeting a younger audience, it comes as no surprise that the M series will be marketed as an online exclusive.

The new Galaxy M devices are said to come with a powerful display, camera, battery and a processor.

It is widely known by now that the Galaxy M line is an affordable series that will merge the Galaxy J and Galaxy On series of the past.

"This new series would have done well for Samsung in the offline channel, which contributes to around 80% of its handset sales in India..." The Galaxy M devices will have Infinity-V display tech, which in other words, is the same teardrop notch display as we saw on smartphones such as the OnePlus 6T, Redmi Note 7, among others. There is also a Galaxy M30 in the works that is said to launch in India at a later date.

It runs Android 8.1 Oreo. The handset could be priced around Rs. 15,000 in India and it will be exclusively available through Amazon in India.

Samsung's new M series smartphones are supposed to finally launch later this month.

Though the price hasn't officially been revealed just yet, a Samsung India executive told Reuters the phones would cost between 10,000 and 20,000 rupees ($140 to $280 USD).
