About two years ago, Faith Rodgers says she was in a relationship with Kelly when she was 19, for almost a year before leaving.

During a press conference in New York today, Rodgers revealed she was meeting with the New York Police Department, in addition to pursuing a civil lawsuit against R. Kelly, for giving her an STD when she was 19.

Though he was acquitted of child pornography charges in 2008, Kelly's behavior and relationship with young women-he married the late singer Aaliyah when she was 15-was not unknown; but now, some say with hindsight, it had mostly been ignored for years thanks to his network of protecters.

Ms Allred said Kelly sent the letter in October to another of Ms Rodgers' lawyers.

Allred said that private photographs of Rodgers had been posted to the now-deleted page. If she persists in court action she will be subjected to public opinion during the discovery process.

Rodgers' attorney, Lydia Hill, added that Kelly also sent "some photos and text" and indicated if they "proceeded with the lawsuit these photos and images would be made public".

Trump's Invite to Only Some Democrats Backfires on Him
President Trump has been known as the "blue-collar billionaire", who has a knack of reading and understanding people. Flashback: Trump told reporters before the meal about his intentions to serve fast food items.

In a previous interview with Rolling Stone, Chance the Rapper said: "Maybe I didn't care because I didn't value the accusers' stories because they were black women".

The letter was sent in October to one of Rodgers' lawyers in NY, a few weeks after the singer was served with the lawsuit accusing him of demeaning her, locking her in rooms and vehicles, and subjecting her to "non-permissive, painful and abusive sex".

Allred said that Kelly was "taking his playbook from Donald Trump" in threatening to sue everyone who has come forward with claims against him. She participated in the recently aired Lifetime documentary "Surviving R. Kelly", which cataloged years of accusations against the singer.

Police in Chicago paid a visit to Kelly's home on Friday, acting on a tip that he was holding women hostage in his apartment, but left after interviewing two women - Joycelyn Savage and Azriel Clary, two women whose families believe have been brainwashed - and finding nothing amiss.

The beginning of another week brings forth more fall out from the Surviving R. Kelly documentary.

Kelly has "never knowingly had sex with an underage woman, he never forced anyone to do anything, he never held anyone captive, he never abused anyone", Greenberg said. During that time she says Kelly instructed her to call him "daddy" and would lock her up for hours at a time. "You're running out of time".
