In his first full season with the New Orleans Pelicans, DeMarcus Cousins posted gaudy stats alongside front court running mate Anthony Davis - but his year was cut short on January 26th, 2017, when he suffered a torn left Achilles tendon just seconds remaining in a game against the Rockets.

In a sit-down interview with ESPN's Rachel Nichols, Cousins said he hasn't focused on the reaction from fans since he signed as a free agent with the Warriors over the summer.

He hoped to re-sign with the franchise but claimed his former team didn't offer him a deal before signing a one-year, $5.4-million contract to join the Warriors.

Kyrie Irving is known for his ball-handling and scoring, but he showed off his passing ability with this long behind-the-back dish to Marcus Smart, who cashed in the 3-pointer to complete the play.

"I don't really pay attention to storylines", the All-Star center told ESPN. "I mean, they're gonna say what they have to say. We're the most hated team in sports". I would say the Warriors are for sure.

"They may hate him as well".

Barr Vows He'd Let Mueller ‘Complete His Work’ on Russia Probe
Barr would replace acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker , who declined to recuse himself from the investigation. Barr acknowledged a president can commit obstruction of justice by destroying evidence or tampering with witnesses.

Forward Draymond Green also believes it takes time to get the 28-year-old center involved into the team's system.

Blogtable: Expectations for Cousins' return? "These are veterans players and they know what it takes to win in the playoffs".

"He just basically tells me to attack it", Cousins said of Wilkins' advice. "We're at a different place now, I can feel it as a coach", Kerr said.

"When he's focused, when he's doing the little things, he's the best big man in the game", Warriors All-Star swingman Klay Thompson said.

"You can mold them into whatever you want them to be". "I don't like to be proved wrong".

Cousins's answer was in response to a question about National Basketball Association fans' angst over the four-time all-star signing on the cheap with the Warriors, who probably don't need any more talent. After they demolished the Nuggets in their most impressive win of the season on Tuesday, Golden State put together a win almost as impressive on Wednesday, overcoming a first-half deficit to beat the New Orleans Pelicans 147-140 on the backend of a home-road back-to-back.
