According to the NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, the Cleveland Browns have completed a trade for Odell Beckham Jr.

The 12th overall pick in the 2014 National Football League draft and a three-time Pro Bowler, Beckham had the best three-season start by a wide receiver in Giants history.

For a few days, trade talks had ramped up regarding Odell Beckham Jr. and the New York Giants.

The Browns have been busy after recording their best season in four years.

With Beckham set to join Jarvis Landry in Cleveland, the Browns will have arguably the top one-two receiving tandem in the league. They saw what happened last season (5-11) when they chose the latter.

Perriman quickly found a new home, agreeing to a 1-year contract with Tampa Bay, said another person with knowledge of the deal. The 28-year-old Smith led the Ravens with 8½ sacks last season - including three in one game against Tennessee - and has 18½ in his 58-game career.

Last season, Beckham angered the Giants with an interview he did with ESPN's Josina Anderson in which he criticized Eli Manning, the coaching staff and the inability of the Giants to get the most out of him.

The Browns are left with eight picks in the 2019 NFL Draft. They signed Kareem Hunt in the offseason and have a number of other young pieces on that side of the ball. The deal is also conditional on Beckham and Peppers passing physicals. So, if they really want to move up to get a passer, they will be able to outbid the Redskins. They've already added Sheldon Richardson and Odell Beckham Jr. today, and they apparently aren't slowing down anytime soon.

Beckham was drafted 12th by the Giants in 2014, and Landry went to the Dolphins at the end of the second round.

Those results support a roster overhaul, and the last decade is proof that you don't need an elite No. 1 receiver to win a Super Bowl. The Pro Bowl wideout, who's 26 now, has topped 1,000 receiving yards in each season that he's played in 12 or more games (four of five).
