The ringleader, William Rick Singer, has pled guilty to charges including racketeering conspiracy and obstruction of justice in Boston.

Prosecutors allege Loughlin and her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, paid $500,000 to have their two daughters labeled as recruits to the University of Southern California crew team, even though neither is a rower.

At a brief court appearance on Wednesday, Ms Loughlin was released on $US1 million bail after being charged with helping her daughters cheat their way into a high-profile California university.

The publication also reports Huffman was aware the arrest was set to happen and was set to "surrender on her own, but the feds saw it differently".

It includes Desperate Housewives actress Felicity Huffman and Full House star Lori Laughlin who have been charged in connection with the alleged $25 million university admissions scandal in the United States.

Wendy went on: "Lori Loughlin, she and her husband are the worst of the lot so far".

The conspiracy allegedly included bribing entrance exam administrators to allow test takers to take exams in the place of students or to correct students' answers, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of MA.

From 2011 until February of this year, Singer is accused of conspiring with dozens of parents, school athletic coaches, administrators, and others to use fraud and bribery to get students into colleges.

Actress Lori Loughlin is facing the same charges as Huffman.

It also became clear that Kim's hopes of faking denuclearization to get the global community to ease sanctions have failed. South Korea's weather agency says a small quake detected in North Korea was likely caused by a mining operation.

Loughlin was taken into custody by FBI agents in Los Angeles on Wednesday morning, Laura Eimiller, a spokeswoman for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, said.

Wendy Williams, 54, kicked off "Hot Topics" on March 13 with a fiery response to "Operation Varsity Blues", a plot, in which is being called the largest college admissions scam in history.

According to court documents, cited by AP, Huffman paid $15,000 that she disguised as a charitable donation so her daughter could take part in the college entrance-exam cheating scam. Huffman and her husband, actor William H. Macy, 69, have two daughters together, Sofia, 18, and Georgia, 16.

She is expected to appear in a Boston court on March 29 for a preliminary hearing.

They are accused of conspiring with Springer to beat the system and ensure the students were admitted or had a better chance to be admitted to certain colleges or universities, including Yale, Stanford, Texas, UCLA, USC, Wake Forest and others.

If convicted on all counts, Singer could face up to 65 years in prison.

No students were charged, with authorities saying that in many cases the teenagers were unaware of what was going on. None of the children were charged on Tuesday.

The Emmy victor, 56, was among 46 wealthy folk whom the authorities said had resorted to fraud, bribes and lies to get their children admitted to elite colleges.
