Possibly, the Galaxy A80 will take on the OnePlus 7 and we speculate the pricing to be pretty similar as well.

At a live-streamed event today in Bangkok, Samsung president DJ Koh took to the stage to unveil the Korean company's latest A-series smartphones. Many smartphones in the past have touted these power-saving AI tricks, but it's been hard to discern the benefit when you're using the phone. The Galaxy A80 is a newly-designed phone from Samsung and it looks completely different from any other smartphone. The 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED screen on the Galaxy A80 covers the entire front of the handset.

This is not the first time that a pop-up rotating camera has been added to a smartphone. Samsung says its new wide-angle lens has the same viewing angle as the human eye, too. Well, the Galaxy A80 isn't the only kid that just got announced; the company has also quietly announced the rumored Galaxy A20e in Poland. This is the seventh smartphone to be launched under the new Galaxy A series within two months. The Galaxy A80 is the first Samsung phone to feature a slider design, and it's also the first phone to have a rotating camera in a slider design.

There's a 3,7000mAh battery which puts it closer to the S10 series, and it packs 25W super-fast charging like the incoming S10 5G phone and its little brother, the A70.

Always, I'm thinking to score, says Salah after entering Liverpool record books
Liverpool battle back from a goal down to head back to the top of the Premier League with a 1-3 victory over Southampton . He has seven wins and five draws in the 18 games since he arrived, and have won their last two games.

On the inside, you are getting an octa-core processor, 8GB RAM, and 128GB of internal storage on the A80. This setup looks like a normal part of the phone when you are not using the phone's camera to capture selfies; however as soon as you tap the front camera icon in the camera app, the sliding mechanism goes to work and pushes the camera setup up from its existing position. The phone ditches a 3.5 mm headset jack and instead uses a Type-C USB port. The Samsung Galaxy A70 comes with a water drop notch or an Infinity-U display along with 32MP cameras on both front and back.

Samsung Galaxy A80 is powered by Qualcomm's brand-new Snapdragon 730G SoC, which is built on 8nm manufacturing process.

Conclusion: The galaxy A80 seems to deliver on the promise of innovation but will likely face tough competition from other major players in the mid premium segment that tend to price their offerings more aggressively.

You get 64GB of storage as well, plus the option to expand on that by up to 512GB with a microSD card (sold separately).
