In the photo section, the phone will have a 32-megapixel front camera and a triple rear camera with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary and a third 13-megapixel lens. The smartphone will have a 6.39-inch screen and a Snapdragon 855 processor accompanied by 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Price and availability The Redmi Y3 comes with a starting price of Rs 9,999 for the base variant of 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.

Xiaomi Redmi Y3: As per the recent teasers dropped by the company, the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Y3 will sport a 32MP selfie camera.

Like the Redmi Note 7, it also has an IR blaster and runs MIUI 10 based on Android Pie.

Xiaomi Redmi 7 features a 6.26-inch (1520 × 720 pixels) HD+ 19:9 2.5D curved glass display, 84% NTSC Color Gamut, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Aside from aesthetics, the Redmi 7 also has a host of upgrades under the hood, all while retaining roughly the same affordable price tags associated with a Redmi smartphone. The video also shows the gradient back panel of the phone as well as the presence of dual rear camera setup. Both Redmi Y3 and Redmi 7 have been announced in two RAM and storage variants, and both the devices will be Amazon exclusive.

The battery on both phones is 4,000mAh and comes with a 10W charger. While AI scene detection and portrait mode can be good features to have, the support for recording full-HD videos at 60fps is a more welcome surprise on this entry-level smartphone. Bold Red, Prime Black and Elegant Blue are the colour options that buyers will get.

Now the pricing of these two phones: At the launch event today, Xiaomi has said the Redmi Y3 smartphones will be sold at Rs 9,999 for the 3GB+32GB variant and Rs 11,999 for the 4GB+64GB variant.

The Redmi 7 is made out of glossy plastic, which might not sit well with fans who prefer the look, feel, and durability of metallic bodies. The handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC processor and houses a 4000mAh battery.

On the back, there is a dual-cam with a 12 MP main sensor and a 2 MP depth one, plus a circular fingerprint reader. The Redmi 7 comes as the successor to the Redmi 6 that was launched a year ago. And the first flash sale is scheduled for 29th April at 12 PM. Xiaomi calls this the Aura Design.
