The film has grossed 413.58 million dollars in North America for a world cume of 1.11 billion dollars.

As expected, Marvel's Avengers: Endgame is a massive, record-breaking success at the box office.

Avengers: Endgame has had the biggest global opening in film history and the weekend isn't even over yet.

"Avengers: Endgame" earned $350 million alone in the USA and Canada, blowing through the $258 million mark held by the superhero team's own gloved hands with last year's "Infinity War".

"Endgame" also shattered the opening record in North America. This makes it the first film to ever reach that total on its opening weekend, and the eighth Marvel film to reach that total, period.

Said directors Anthony and Joe Russo, "We poured our heart and soul into 'Avengers: Endgame, ' hoping to tell a story that would inspire audiences around the world".

It's also worth mentioning the film has also helped the business of a fellow Marvel Cinematic Universe production, Captain Marvel.

Trump says he appreciates Russian Federation and China's help with North Korea
North Korean state media expressed optimism regarding the second meeting in Vietnam, predicting a "major breakthrough". Kim arrived in Russian Federation on Wednesday by armoured train just days after confirmation of the meeting was made.

Avengers: Endgame concludes what Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige dubbed as "The Infinity Saga" or what we've seen as Thanos' secret quest for the powerful Infinity Stones.

Critics have strongly supported "Avengers: Endgame" with a 96% score from Rotten Tomatoes - the second best ever earned by a Marvel release after "Black Panther" at 97%.

The previous biggest US/Canada opening weekend box office record-holder was Avengers: Infinity War ($257.7 million).

"Endgame" became a cinematic event with thousands of sell outs and movie theater chains running around the clock adding showtimes to meet the demand of moviegoers.

The company's Captain Marvel - positioned as a kind of Marvel lead-in to Endgame - also rose to number two on the weekend, eight weeks after it opened. "As they saw the need, they opened up screens", said Cathleen Taft, distribution chief for Disney.

An enormous hit was much needed for a box office that, coming into the weekend, was lagging 16 per cent off the pace of last year's ticket sales, according to Comscore.
