And, just two days after his arrival, they announced they surprised everyone with the announcement of his name, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

Prince William and Kate Middleton's son Prince George also bizarrely revealed to a dog walker who bumped into him in Berkshire earlier this year with his grandmother Carole Middleton: "I'm called Archie".

Some of the standout social reactions to Harry and Meghan's baby's name came from Archie comics, the popular spin-off series, "Riverdale" and fans of the franchises. Harry was likely just sharing information he'd heard from others, as he probably couldn't quite tell if baby Archie looked like either himself or Meghan.

As far as royal titles are concerned, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle didn't break any rules.

Twitter immediately responded with video images Meghan once shared of her stroking Archie while playing with another of her pet cats.

Amal and George Cloonet attended Meghan and Prince Harry's wedding last May.

Ilhan Omar's tweet on Israel-Gaza violence sparks condemnation from Republicans
Representatives of Hamas and Islamic Jihad were locked in negotiations in Cairo on Sunday as Egypt attempted to broker a truce. The most recent burst of violence coincides with the start of the holy month of Ramadan when Muslims fast from dawn to dusk.

Now that we've had 24 hours to digest the news and the glorious photos of Archie and his parents, it's time to examine the name.

The couple have chose to not to choose a courtesy title for their son - they could have used Earl of Dumbarton, one of Harry's subsidiaries given to him on his wedding day. You want them to be friends but also different and one of them is in some kind of royal airforce. With the "I" from "INVICTUS" and "AM" from "FAMILY" bolded in yellow, and the word "DADDY" added in yellow at the bottom, his jacket actually said, "I AM DADDY".

But now, some conspiracy theorists think the royal baby's first name could also include a sly nod to his momma! The middle name Harrison means "son of Harry".

In English, this means that any grandchild of the King or Queen immediately becomes a Prince or Princess.

As there is no title given, the baby will use the surname of Mountbatten-Windsor, a surname used by the descendants of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip.
